Michelle Kelchak is an accomplished Creative Design Manager at Skechers since May 2016, with extensive experience in brand revitalization and product development. Previously, as Creative Design Director at Keds from 2011 to 2014, Michelle successfully transformed a struggling brand, significantly increasing sales by targeting younger consumers and enhancing team dynamics. In a consulting role from 2007 to 2011, Michelle provided expertise for various companies, including developing product lines for a high-end shoe brand in Italy and a women's sports apparel line in the U.S. Earlier experience includes serving as Design Director for Michelle K, where Michelle launched a fashion-forward spin-off brand for Skechers, and an Executive Vice President of Design at Skechers U.S., contributing to its growth from a start-up to a global brand generating $1.8 billion in annual sales. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communications from Arizona State University and a Certificate in Interior Design from Parsons New School for Design.
