Matt Karwoski

Matt Karwoski is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and transactions. Currently serving as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Trupanion since August 2019, Matt is the sole attorney responsible for all contracts, corporate transactions, and securities matters at the data-driven pet insurance company. Prior to this role, Matt practiced as an Associate at Fenwick and West from September 2008 to August 2019, providing legal counsel to technology companies on various legal and business matters, including company formation and mergers and acquisitions. Matt began career as a Legal Assistant at Kirkland & Ellis LLP from October 2003 to August 2005, supporting the venture capital and private equity fund formation practice. Matt holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from the University of Washington.
