Ethan Bonick

VP of Information Technology at TruQua

Ethan Bonick has a comprehensive work experience spanning various roles and companies. Ethan started their career in 2003 as a Network Support Specialist at Syclo, where they configured and administered network infrastructure and telecommunications systems. During their tenure, they also updated IT policies and implemented changes to network operating systems and user desktops. Ethan made significant contributions by researching and deploying a remote office for 40 users and integrating Linux and Mac OS X into the Active Directory environment.

In 2013, Ethan joined SAP as an IT Technology Consultant - Infrastructure Engineer. Ethan played a key role in handling the migration of Syclo related data to SAP and worked closely with the merger and acquisition team for a smooth transition of systems and data. Ethan also troubleshooted remote office network issues to enhance the remote Syclo office experience.

Continuing their IT career, Ethan joined TruQua Enterprises in 2013 as a Director of Information Technology. Here, they designed and deployed network infrastructure, researched and implemented hyper-converged virtualized networks, and migrated infrastructure to Nutanix. Ethan was responsible for all IT-related hardware purchases, phone systems, and mobile devices. In 2020, they were promoted to the role of VP of Information Technology.

Most recently, Ethan joined IBM in 2021 as an Information Technology Infrastructure Specialist.

Ethan Bonick began their education at West Aurora High School, where they obtained their diploma in 1999. Following this, they attended the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology from 1999 to 2000, studying Electrical Engineering. In 2001, Ethan enrolled in Elgin Community College and graduated in 2003 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer & Information Science Network Specialist. Additionally, they returned to Elgin Community College for further studies, earning an Associate of Science degree in General Studies in 2008.
