Kim McKeown

Kim McKeown has extensive work experience in the field of art, design, and graphic design. Kim has held various roles in different companies, starting with their current position as the Art + Design Director at Truss Creative since 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Graphic Designer at Truss Creative from 2017 to 2018. Kim also has their own studio, Kim McKeown Studio, where they worked as an Art Director and Graphic Designer since 2010. Kim has also worked as a Graphic Designer at Studio Sigler from 2011 to 2019 and at Flutter Magazine from 2014 to 2019. Additionally, they have experience as an Art Director, Senior Graphic Designer, and Graphic Designer at Santa Barbara SEASONS Magazine from 2012 to 2017. Kim has worked as a Graphic Designer at Custom Media Group from 2012 to 2014. Kim also gained experience in marketing, design, and consulting logistics at UC Santa Barbara, Letters & Science Information Technology from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, they worked as a Principal Consultant and Multimedia Coordinator, as well as a Lab Facilities Consultant at UCSB Collaborate Student Support Center from 2009 to 2012. Kim also has experience as a Teaching Assistant at UC Santa Barbara from 2010 to 2011. Lastly, they served as the Festival Director & Graphic Designer at UCSB Reel Loud Film Festival '10 from 2009 to 2010.

Kim McKeown attended West Ranch High School from 2004 to 2008. Kim then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Film & Media Studies and Communication at UC Santa Barbara from 2008 to 2012. In 2009, they participated in the Summer Institute in Motion Picture Producing at UCLA. Later, from 2012 to 2014, they obtained a Certificate in Graphic & Digital Design from Parsons School of Design - The New School.
