Amy Cains

Amy Cains (MCIPR) is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in internal communications and public relations. Currently serving as the Internal Communications Officer at Trussell since October 2023, Amy previously spent nearly a decade at Bristol City Council, managing a team focused on employee engagement for a workforce of over 6,500. Roles at Bristol included Internal Communications Manager and Senior Public Relations Officer, where responsibilities involved advising senior leaders and leading PR efforts for critical sectors like Public Health and Education. Prior to this, Amy held positions at Inside Media, Future Publishing, and Brandon Hill Communications Limited, where skills in strategic communications, client management, and content creation were developed. Amy began a career in marketing at Red Bull while pursuing a degree in English Literature at Cardiff University.
