David Conroy

David Conroy is an experienced finance and operations professional with a robust background in the charitable sector and consulting. Currently serving as Head of Finance at The Trussell Trust since January 2023, David previously held the position of Director of Finance and Operations at the Association of Charitable Foundations from August 2020 to December 2022. With a strong track record as a consultant at Kapia Consulting Limited, David has supported various clients in governance, accounting, compliance, and process needs. Experience also includes project management roles at Charity for Civil Servants and Girl Effect, as well as finance project management at Maudsley Charity. Earlier positions include significant leadership roles such as Chief Executive at The Lion Foundation and General Manager at Dore New Zealand. David holds an ACA in Accounting from Wellington Polytechnic and a bursary degree from St Patrick’s College.
