Clare Newman

Clare Newman has a diverse work experience. Clare currently holds the position of President & CEO at Trust for Governors Island since July 2019. Prior to this role, they were the Chief of Staff and EVP at Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation from August 2014 to June 2019. Clare also has experience working as a Manager at Bennett Midland from May 2012 to June 2014. Additionally, they have worked in the area of government innovation at Bloomberg Philanthropies from May 2012 to June 2014. Clare Newman has also held the position of Vice President at the New York City Economic Development Corporation from June 2007 to May 2012.
