Trust for Governors Island
Kristine Eilyn Santos Lugo is an experienced arts administrator with a strong background in curatorial and research roles across various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as the Executive Administrator at the Trust for Governors Island since April 2022, Kristine previously worked as a Curatorial Assistant at El Museo del Barrio and as a Research Assistant in the Latin American Department at Christie's. Additional experience includes positions at the City College of New York, the Museum of Arts and Design, and Museo de Arte de Ponce, where responsibilities encompassed research, collection management, and educational support. Kristine holds a Bachelor's Degree in Art Theory from the University of Puerto Rico - Mayaguez Campus and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Art History and Museum Studies at The City College of New York.
Trust for Governors Island
The Trust for Governors Island is a nonprofit corporation created by The City of New York that is responsible for the redevelopment and operation of 150 acres of Governors Island. The Trust’s mission is to transform Governors Island into a vibrant resource for New York City, making this island at the center of New York Harbor a destination with extraordinary public open space, as well as educational, not-for-profit and commercial facilities.
