Randi Burroughs

Randi Burroughs is an accomplished event manager with extensive experience in overseeing a wide range of events and achieving significant sales growth. Currently employed at Trust for Governors Island as an Event Manager since April 2022, Randi previously held the position of Senior Event Manager at Lakeside Brooklyn and managed private events at the Brooklyn Historical Society, where notable accomplishments include exceeding sales goals by 75% in the first two years. Earlier roles included coordinating events for Big Dawg Party Rentals, managing special events marketing at Kognito, and serving as a corporate communications and events liaison at the Associated Press. Randi holds a B.A. in Economics and Spanish from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and received training from the Event Leadership Institute.
