Rena Shah

Rena Shah has a wealth of experience in the finance and technology industries. Rena began their career in 2012 as a Petroleum Engineer for Chevron, where they supported Chevron Venture Capital in due diligence to invest in solar and wind companies with operations in the Permian Basin. In 2015, they joined Kinship Advisors as a Management Consultant, where they led user acquisition growth, customer success, branding partnerships, and financial forecasting. In 2019, they took on roles as a Strategic Advisor for Ember Fund, a mobile cryptocurrency investing app, and a Director of Business Development for Apifiny, a parent company of the stablecoin division Global Currency Organization. In 2020, they became the Head of Exchange and Head of Business Development for Binance.US, scaling the exchange from $30M to $3B daily trading volume, 2+ million customers, 43 states, and 99.97% uptime in one year. In 2022, they joined Trust Machines as the Head of Operations & Strategy and became an Advisor for both FlyCoin and Tribe Capital.

Rena Shah graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Petroleum Engineering. Rena also holds certifications from FutureLearn in Blockchain in the Energy Sector, NCEES in Engineer in Training, and DataCamp in SQL for Data Science.
