Choong Ching Teo has a diverse work experience in the field of design, specifically in product design and user experience (UX) design.
Starting with their most recent role, Choong Ching Teo worked as a founder and developer at Get Sh*T Done Today, where they designed and developed a simple to-do web application. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Product Designer at Trustana, where they contributed to the pre-Product Market Fit stage.
Before their role at Trustana, Choong Ching Teo was a Senior Product Designer at Saleswhale, where they were one of the early members of the design team. Choong Ching helped establish the design process and principles and facilitated Design Sprints for feature/discovery with the two-person team.
Prior to Saleswhale, Choong Ching Teo worked as a User Experience Designer at Rakuten Viki, where they implemented a user-centered design approach and collaborated closely with the UX Researcher and Product and Engineering teams.
Before Rakuten Viki, Choong Ching Teo held the position of User Experience Designer at Asiarooms Pte Ltd, where they worked from 2013 to 2015. Choong Ching also worked as a UI/UX Designer at Aleph-Labs, creating intuitive UI designs for various multi-touch screen devices and collaborating with clients such as OCBC Bank, UOB Singapore, and ANZ Singapore.
Earlier in their career, Choong Ching Teo worked as an Interaction Designer at Proximity Worldwide and as a Web Designer at OgilvyOne. Choong Ching was the lead interactive designer of the IBM ASEAN team at OgilvyOne, responsible for web design, production, and concept development. Choong Ching also worked on digital projects for other clients.
Choong Ching Teo started their career as an Intern Web Designer at OgilvyOne Worldwide Malaysia, where they were involved in digital campaigns for clients such as Guinness, Heineken, and IBM Malaysia.
Choong Ching Teo completed a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia from Multimedia University, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications in different fields. These certifications include AJ&Smart Design Sprint Masterclass from AJ&Smart GmbH in August 2019, American Sign Language - Level 1 from Udemy in January 2017, and Basics of Design Research from SAP's OpenSAP program in September 2016. Choong Ching also received certifications in topics such as blockchain, design concepts, innovation, SEO, usability testing, growth hacking, journalism, and gamification between 2015 and 2016. Lastly, Choong Ching Teo obtained an IELTS English Test (General) certification from the British Council in May 2016.

This leads to the rise of closed networks, where participants in a singular system are able to share information seamless, however bridging networks is incredibly difficult. What if, instead of business and trade data being stored in disparate databases controlled by a multitude of entities, a company’s business identity and product information were owned and controlled by itself? In other words, what would a world with an open trade data ecosystem look like? Trustana is on a mission to democratize access to cross-border trade. Our vision is to create a curated B2B platform that allows buyers and suppliers to trade with confidence. Founded in 2020, Trustana focuses on aggregating data on behalf of businesses to generate interoperable digital business identities and enriched product reputations, making it easier for businesses to manage their data internally and share critical trade data securely with partners. Trustana leverages technology to enable users to have control and ownership over their data. Founded by Temasek, a global investment company headquartered in Singapore, Trustana is based in Singapore with a hub in China.
