Harvey Barnes

Harvey Barnes has two years of work experience. In 2019, they worked as a Data Restoration Engineer and a Junior Restoration Engineer at Trusted Data Solutions. In this role, they managed an ESXi/vCenter 6.x environment with hundreds of VMs both manually and with custom scripts (PowerCLI). The environment was geographically diverse and consisted of multiple ESXi Hosts reporting back to a centralised vCenter. In 2017, they completed a work experience module with Blackpool and The Fylde College. During this time, they performed a database migration between an older support desk and a newer help desk, diagnosed and fixed both software and hardware issues independently and in a team, and prepared materials for other students' classes. Harvey also had to work quickly, safely and effectively, ensuring that they were following proper health & safety procedures within the college.
