Manuel Abbt

Manuel Abbt is an accomplished data services and analytics professional with significant experience in leading data departments and business intelligence initiatives. As the Director of Data Services & Analytics at Trusted Shops since October 2017, Manuel manages a central data department consisting of five teams and provides the necessary data architecture and tools for a data-driven culture. Previously, as Team Leader of Business Intelligence, Manuel established the first BI team and developed cloud-based data warehouse architecture. Earlier roles include Business Intelligence Consultant at ITGAIN Consulting GmbH, where consulting for major clients in finance and insurance sectors occurred, and Database Administrator at the University of Tübingen. Manuel began an entrepreneurial journey in IT consulting and development, leading projects including an international e-learning platform. Educationally, Manuel holds a Diplom in Informatik from the University of Tübingen and completed Abitur with a focus on Informatik at FTS Villingen-Schwenningen.
