Ben Cottrell

Ben Cottrell has worked in the product management industry since 2010. Ben began their career at Icom Group as a Product Assistant, where they worked on projects from pitch to delivery. In 2011, they moved to YUMMI Media Group Limited as a Product Manager, where they created an interactive game called 'Revolution' in partnership with Shine and ITV. In 2014, they joined CINIME as a Senior Product Manager, taking the app from the initial sales concept and launching and managing the product. In 2016, they moved to Farmdrop as Head of Product, working to build a simpler and fairer food system. Finally, in 2019, they joined TrustedHousesitters as a Senior Product Manager.

Ben Cottrell has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. In 2020, they completed a Retention & Engagement course from Reforge. Ben also has several certifications, including Product Leadership, Data for Product Managers, Product Strategy, User Insights for Product Decisions, A/B Testing Mastery, Voice of Customer Data, Gamification from the University of Pennsylvania, Project Management & MS Project Training, and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO). All of these certificates were obtained between 2012 and 2022.
