Mathew Prior

Mathew Prior has a long and varied career in the travel and leisure industry. Mathew began their career in 1992 as a Resort Rep for Owners Abroad (later rebranded to First Choice Holidays). Mathew was then promoted to Resort Manager in 1994, Operations Area Manager in 1995, and Manager of Viajes Elena in 1996. In 2001, they were appointed Managing Director of various experiential leisure businesses at First Choice Holidays. In 2008, they became Managing Director of the Specialist Holidays Group at TUI, where they were responsible for Crystal Ski, Tailormade, Marine, and other businesses. In 2016, they were appointed Managing Director of Tailormade & Marine at Travelopia, where they agreed a sale business plan with TUI and managed the businesses through the sale process. In 2019, they became Chief Executive Officer of TrustedHousesitters, a global tech marketplace that connects a community of home and pet owners with sitters.

Mathew Prior attended St Ambrose College from 1976 to 1987. Mathew then went on to Durham University from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained a BA (Hons) in Economics. In 1997, they completed an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School.
