Nikki Fargus has a long and varied work experience. Nikki began their career in 2008 as a Waitress/Food Preparation Assistant at Blazing Barbeques. In 2011, they moved to Ski and Summer Morzine as an Assistant Chef, where they were responsible for the preparation of a full cooked breakfast, freshly baked cake for the afternoon, and a four-course meal for dinner. In 2013, they joined Kerry Foods as an Innovation Technologist, where they were the project lead in the upscale and further development of a yogurt product. In 2016, they moved to Fuerst Day Lawson as an Applications Technologist, where they worked on multiple accounts developing new products. In 2017, they began studying Web Development at General Assembly, and then joined Newcross Healthcare Solutions as a Frontend Web Developer. In 2021, they joined TrustedHousesitters as a Software Engineer.
Nikki Fargus has an extensive education history. Nikki obtained a Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme (Gold Award) from The Duke of Edinburgh's Award in August 2012. From 2007 to 2011, they attended The University of Edinburgh, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences (Molecular Genetics). In 2012 and 2013, they attended the University of Leeds and obtained a Master of Science in Food Quality and Innovation. In 2017, they attended General Assembly and obtained a Web Development Immersive in Web Development. Prior to that, they attended St Aidan's and St John Fisher's Associated Sixth Form from 2005 to 2007.
