Ryan MacFarlane

Ryan Macfarlane serves as the Incident Response Practice Lead at TrustedSec since November 2025, specializing in cyber crisis management, digital forensics, and threat containment. Prior to this role, Ryan accumulated extensive experience at the FBI from January 2004 to November 2025, where Ryan held various positions including Unit Chief in the Counter Terrorism Division and Assistant Legal Attache for Cyber, focusing on global cyber investigations. Ryan began a career in security consulting as VP at Pivot Group from January 2002 to January 2004 and previously worked as a Technical Sales Consultant at i2 Technologies and as a Consultant at Kurt Salmon. With foundational experience at IBM in the Education and Training Team, Ryan holds a BS in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
