Mark Cunningham has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mark is currently a Co-Founder and Board Member at TrustEngine since 2023. Prior to that, they co-founded Sales Boomerang in 2017 and held the roles of President and CIO. During their time at Sales Boomerang, they focused on loan retention for mortgage lenders and implemented integrations with mortgage CRM and LOS software companies to enhance sales system automation for loan officers.
Before Sales Boomerang, Mark worked at Advantage Title/National Lender services for Refinance and Default from 2005 to 2017. As the Managing Partner, CMO, and Business Development professional, they played a pivotal role in growing the company from 150 transactions per month to over 1000 per month, totaling over $1 billion in fundings each month. Mark also constantly worked on expanding their national client base.
From 2013 to 2016, Mark held the position of Managing Partner at Charter Title, a title insurance company that serviced local realtors, lenders, investors, and retail consumers in Maryland.
In addition to their roles in the mortgage and real estate industry, Mark has also worked at the US Department of Homeland Security as a Budget Analyst and IT/CIS Systems Developer from 2003 to 2005. Mark managed a $25 million budget for the US Customs and Border Protection offices and led a project to calculate staffing costs during the merger of various departments into the Department of Homeland Security.
Mark's early career includes working as an Executive Assistant to the CEO at NovaStar Mortgage from 2001 to 2003. Mark was responsible for building dashboard systems to track lead purchasing, statistical analytics, and conversion to originated/closed loans, resulting in a significant increase in loan originations.
Mark Cunningham completed two Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems at Towson University from 1998 to 2003. From 2016 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate Infrastructure.
