Eduardo Fontes

Eduardo Fontes currently serves as the Head of Applied Data Science & Analytics at Trustly since May 2024 and as an AI/ML Advisor at TalentValue™ since February 2024. Prior to these roles, Eduardo was the Senior Vice President of Data Science at Wealth from October 2022 to April 2024, leading AI/ML initiatives. Eduardo's extensive experience includes positions such as Managing Director at TIAA, where responsibilities included overseeing the Center of Excellence for Data Science & Engineering, and Head of Data Science and Machine Learning at Vanguard, where a dynamic team was created to drive data-informed decision-making. Earlier roles include Director positions in Risk Services at Visa and Risk Management at American Express. Eduardo holds a Micro Masters in Data Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and both a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas and an MBA from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
