Daniel Schmid

Daniel Schmid has extensive experience in sales leadership within the financial services industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales and Sales Support at Trustmark since June 2016, Daniel previously held the position of Regional Sales Vice President. Prior to Trustmark, Daniel spent nearly a decade at Sun Life Financial as Vice President - Market Leader for the Western U.S., overseeing sales for multiple product lines. Daniel's earlier roles include Regional Vice President at Genworth Financial and Regional Group Manager at Phoenix Home Life. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, attained in 1985.
