Steve Steen is the EVP, Chief Business Officer at TruStone Financial Credit Union. Steve has over 25 years of experience in the banking and financial industry.
Steve started their career at TCF Bank in 2004 as the Senior Vice President - Director Of Traditional Banking. In this role, they were responsible for leading the bank's retail division which included over 44 branches. Steve was able to increase year-over-year performance and significantly improve customer experience metrics. In 2007, they were recruited by Associated Bank to be their Senior Vice President - Regional Retail Director.
In their current role at TruStone Financial Credit Union, Steve is responsible for leading the organization's business strategy and operations. Steve has been instrumental in growing the credit union's membership and assets, while also maintaining a strong focus on delivering excellent member service. Under Steve's leadership, the credit union has opened multiple new branches in high-opportunity markets and achieved consistent 'exceeds' or 'meets' expectations branch audit performance.
Steve Steen graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Real Estate and Insurance. Steve then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in Financial Institutions Management.
