Babu Duraiswamy

Babu Duraiswamy has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to 2019. Babu started their career at Thomson Reuters as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, where they performed various roles related to Quality Assurance and worked on financial products like Datastream Charting and Thomson Reuters EIKON.

In 2014, Babu joined DevOn as a Senior Principal Test Specialist, where they played an active part in QA responsibilities and gained a thorough understanding of Scrum principles and Agile development. Babu also performed manual and automated functional testing using tools like Selenium and created reliable automated tests using Selenium/C#/NUnit. During their time at DevOn, Babu also took on the role of a Scrum Master.

In 2016, Babu became a Scrum Master at Owler, where they served as a Scrum Master/Project Manager for multiple Scrum teams. Babu maintained constant communication with Product Owners to ensure team awareness of requirements, priorities, and roadmap, while offering and collecting regular feedback for continuous improvement.

From 2018 to 2019, Babu worked at Shris Infotech as a Project Manager, where they were responsible for managing three teams. Babu communicated daily with onsite stakeholders on requirements and deliverables, and facilitated Scrum events like stand-up meetings and sprint planning with offshore teams.

In 2018, Babu also worked at ConverSight.ai as a Product Delivery Lead, where they played a key role in product delivery.

Most recently, in 2019, Babu joined TrusTrace as a People and Culture professional.

Babu Duraiswamy completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from CBM College in 2000. Babu then pursued a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from PSG College of Arts and Science, graduating in 2003.

In terms of additional certifications, Babu obtained the Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification from Bridge Education Group in July 2020. Babu also holds a Level 1 Certified Table Tennis Coach certification from the ITTF Foundation, obtained in August 2019.
