In 2010, they enrolled at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg to earn a Bachelor's degree in Environmental social science and economy. Pauline completed this program in 2015. Following that, from 2015 to 2017, Pauline pursued a Master's degree in Environmental economics and management at Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet. Additionally, in 2016, they attended Stockholm Resilience Center for a brief period to study Urban Social-Ecological Systems, earning 15 credits.
