Shadi Barhoumi

Shadi Barhoumi has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Shadi is currently working as a Software Engineer at TrustToken since August 2021. In this role, they are responsible for designing and building the TrueFi DeFi lending platform using Solidity smart contract development and full-stack development in Typescript and React.

Before joining TrustToken, Barhoumi was a Founding Engineer at Mochary Method from July 2020 to March 2021. Shadi designed and implemented an online platform for asynchronous meetings using Next.js, Typescript, Firebase, React, and Redux.

In 2017, Barhoumi worked as a Full Stack Web Developer at ZenTrust, Inc. (now TrueUSD) from July to November. Prior to that, they were an iOS and Full Stack Web Developer at IdeaFlow, Inc. for a brief period from June to September 2016. In this role, they implemented frontend features for an online brainstorming tool and integrated external APIs into their iOS note-taking app.

Barhoumi also gained experience as a Full Stack Web Developer at Kassen Company, Inc. from August 2015 to February 2016.

Before their professional career, Barhoumi co-founded the StreetCode Academy, an East Palo Alto tech community center, where they served as the Co-Founder and Director of Programs from June 2014 to August 2015. The academy has received significant donations and has served over 2,000 students.

Additionally, Barhoumi worked as a Stanford CS106A Section Leader at Stanford University's Computer Science Department from January to April 2014.

In 2012, Barhoumi founded and developed Scarecrow's Revenge for a period of five months, showcasing their passion for entrepreneurship and development.

Shadi Barhoumi completed their high school education at San Mateo High School from 2009 to 2013. Shadi then pursued a Bachelor's degree at Stanford University from 2016 to 2020. Shadi'smajor areas of study were Computer Science and Chinese language.
