Stephen Fong

Stephen Fong is currently an advisor at Trustworthy. Prior to that, they spent 4 years at Microsoft as the Director of Strategy & Operations for their consumer business unit. There, they were responsible for leading the finance, strategy, and operations functions for new consumer products. Stephen also created and led the BizOps team to guide new and existing product growth initiatives.

Before Microsoft, Stephen spent 3 years at Nuveen, a TIAA company, as an equity investor. There, they were responsible for buying side investment research and identifying and evaluating potential public long/short investments through fundamental analysis. Stephen also had direct coverage of $1bn in assets invested under the overall firm portfolio.

Stephen started their career in 2008 at EY in their transaction advisory group. Stephen then moved to Jefferies in 2010 to work in their investment banking division before finally moving to KPMG in 2006 to work in audit services.

Stephen Fong has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Stephen also has a bachelor's degree in International Business from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. In addition, they have a certification from WSET — Wine & Spirit Education Trust in WSET Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits and a certification from the California Board of Accountancy in CPA (Inactive).
