Phillip S. Kim, PhD. MBA. has a long and impressive work history. In 1991, they began working as a Research Scientist at UCLA, where they characterized diphtheria toxin and developed a quantitative nuclease activity assay using radio isotopes. In 1999, they became the President & CEO of KnowledGENE Inc., where they focused on disseminating genetics information to academic, clinical, and general public audiences through a virtual community. In 2003, they became the Director of R&D at AutoGenomics Inc., where they developed microarray-based medical devices for pharmacogenetic applications. In 2006, they became the Sr. Director of Research & Development at Prometheus Laboratories Inc., A Nestl\u00e9 Health Science Company, where they led research teams to develop technologies, platforms and services for prognostic, predictive and monitoring utilities for oncology and autoimmune diseases. In 2016, they became the Vice President of R&D and Experimental Medicine at Pierian Biosciences, where their mission was to profoundly change the cancer treatment experience for patients and providers. In 2017, they founded Revealux Biosciences, an idea-hub with balanced science and business focus. In 2018, they became the CEO of Trutino Biosciences, a research-driven biopharmaceutical company with a mission to restore immuno-balance in cancer patients, and also joined Batu Biologics, Inc. as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board.

Phillip S. Kim, PhD, MBA, has a comprehensive education history. PHILLIP S. obtained their B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1991. PHILLIP S. then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in MIMG - Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics from the same institution, which they completed in 2000. Following this, they completed a Post-Doc in Human Genetics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in 2002. In 2007, they obtained their MBA from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business. In 2014, they received a Nestle Leadership certificate from London Business School. Finally, they are currently enrolled in a Certificate program in Data Science & Machine Learning at MIT Professional Education, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
