Martin Štrunc

Martin Štrunc has over 20 years of work experience, primarily in the field of software engineering. Martin is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at TruU, Inc. since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Citrix as a Senior Software Engineer from December 2020 to January 2022. Before that, they held the position of Senior Java Developer at AspectWorks and Hypoteční banka from September 2011 to November 2020. Additionally, they worked at AiP Safe for a significant part of their career, serving as the Chief of Support Department from July 2008 to August 2011, and as a Senior Java Developer from July 2001 to August 2011.

Martin Štrunc completed their education with a Masters Degree (Ing.) in Computer Software Engineering from FEE CTU in Prague, starting in 1996 and finishing in 2003. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1996, they attended the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering V Uzlabine 320 in Prague 10, where they studied Electrical Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Martin Štrunc has obtained several certifications. In 2011, they became an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer. The following year, in 2012, they earned the Oracle Certified Expert, Java EE 6 Web Component Developer certification. In 2013, they further enhanced their skills by completing the M101: MongoDB for Developers and M102: MongoDB for DBAs certifications from 10gen The MongoDB Company. Martin also completed the Startup Engineering course from Stanford University at Coursera.org in 2013. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained the Secure Coding in Java certification from LinkedIn.
