Briana Cervantes

Briana Cervantes has a diverse work experience. Briana is currently working as a TruGuard Analyst at Truveris since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Application Developer at First Step Staffing from April 2022. Briana also has experience as a Park Ranger at the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve from August 2019 to August 2021, where they guided visitors, developed history talks and online exhibits, and served as a Web Lead and Safety Officer. Additionally, they served as a Science Communication and Outreach Coordinator at the Pontchartrain Conservancy from August 2017 to August 2019, where they managed volunteers, wrote about science work, and reported on grant deliverables.

Briana Cervantes completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies at Suffolk University from 2012 to 2016. Briana then pursued further education and recently obtained a Master of Urban Spatial Analytics degree from the University of Pennsylvania from 2021 to 2022, specializing in Urban Informatics. In addition to their academic pursuits, Briana also obtained certification in Incident Command Structure 100, 200 from FEMA Training in May 2021 and completed the Audio Description - 508 ADA Compliance certification from Audio Description Training Retreats in November 2020.
