Angela Winegar, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning several prestigious organizations. Most recently, they serve as the VP of Health System Engagement at Truveta since May 2022. Prior to this, Angela held the position of Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at Austin from September 2017 onwards.

Earlier in their career, Angela was a Senior Consultant at QA Consulting, Inc., where they excelled from February 2008 to May 2014. Angela also gained experience as a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin from August 2005 to May 2012.

Angela's extensive experience also includes roles at Austin Technology Incubator as an Intern in 2009, and at Accenture as a Manager, Senior Consultant, and Consultant in their Health and Life Sciences division from 1999 to 2005. While at Accenture, they provided expertise in process improvement, cGMP, and life sciences distribution channels for clients such as Boston Scientific and Abbott.

Angela Winegar, Ph.D. received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Biology from Princeton University from 1995 to 1999. Angela then pursued further education at The University of Texas at Austin, where they earned a Master of Science in Pharmacoeconomics/Pharmaceutical Economics from 2005 to 2007. Angela later obtained their doctoral degree, a Ph.D. in Pharmacoeconomics and Health Outcomes, from The University of Texas at Austin from 2008 to 2012.
