Mario Pon Rivera

Mario Pon Rivera has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Mario is currently working as the Head of IT at Airdesk since October 2022. Previously, they served as a University Professor at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras (UNAH) starting from February 2009. Mario also worked as an IT Specialist at Fundacion CoHonducafe from December 2021 to August 2022. Prior to that, Mario held the position of Senior Developer at Municipalidad de San Pedro Sula from November 2019 to December 2021. Mario has also worked as a Middle and Highschool Teacher at Western International School, specializing in IT, robotics, and logic classes from July 2018 to July 2019. Mario'searlier roles include IT Infrastructure Administrator and Financial Analyst at Cervecería Hondureña from May 2005 to September 2017, Head of IT at Purificadora de Agua El Progreso from November 2003 to August 2004, IS auditor at KPMG from January 2003 to October 2003, IS Analyst at Banpaís from April 2000 to March 2002, and IS Analyst at PRODECON, Profesionales de la Construcción from September 1993 to November 1993.

Mario Pon Rivera attended the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana from 1995 to 2007. During this time, they pursued a degree in Computer Systems Engineering. In May 2023, they obtained a certification in Python Essentials 1 from Cisco.
