Amy Zimmer worked as a Litigation Assistant at Socha, Perczak & Anderson P.C.from 2001 to 2002. Amy then became a Member of the Denver Landmark Preservation Commission from July 2012 to March 2019. Amy later served as a Consultant at the Colorado State Library from November 2002 to August 2021. Currently, Amy is working as an Associate in Communications & Research and Architectural Historian at Tryba Architects since August 2021.
