David Tryba is the founder of Tryba Architects, a company they established in 1988. Over the course of 25 years, Tryba Architects has designed, restored, and preserved projects worth $3 billion, including several with individual values exceeding $100 million. Prior to founding Tryba Architects, David worked as a Senior Design Associate and Project Architect at Beyer Blinder Belle from 1983 to 1988.

David Tryba received an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from the University of Colorado. David also holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture and Urban Design from the University of Colorado Boulder. Additionally, they have a Master of Architecture with Honors in Architecture and Urban Design from the University of Colorado, Denver.
