Alex Chumbley

Alex Chumbley is an experienced entrepreneur and leader in the technology and web3 sectors. Currently serving in the Emerging Products division at MoonPay since June 2023, Alex co-founded and was the CEO of Plex until its acquisition by MoonPay the same year. Plex focuses on on-chain customer engagement and marketing, collaborating with top brands to develop audience insights. As a Visiting Partner at Orange DAO, Alex supports web3 founders through investment and mentorship, having invested in over 100 startups. Previous roles include co-founding Fable, where the emphasis was on efficient product development, and serving as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, working with startups and VCs on key business strategies. Alex holds a Master’s and Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed a program at Y Combinator.
