Mikael Kärrsten

Since April 2022, Mikael Kärrsten has been PPU Director in Tryg. Before then (2018-2022) Chief UW Officer and part of the management in RSA Scandinavia (including Trygg-Hansa, Codan Danmark and Codan Norway). 2016-2018 part of Trygg-Hansa (RSA Sweden) in the position as UW Director for Trygg-Hansa. Mikael Kärrsten has extensive experience from insurance management, in particular within the technical field including portfolio management, case underwriting, pricing and product management. Over the past 15+ years he has held management position within underwriting, both in commercial and personal lines. Before joining Tryg as part of the acquisition of Trygg-Hansa and Codan Norway in April 2022 as PPU Directior, he held positions as Underwriting Director for Trygg-Hansa (2016-201) and Chief UW Officer for RSA Scandi (2018-2022).
