Carl-Alain Memnon has held a number of roles in the legal and technology fields. Carl-Alain began their career in 2007 as a Paralegal at Ziff Davis, Inc. In 2009, they moved to Goldman Sachs where they served as Counsel/Contract Negotiator. In 2011, they joined Virtu Financial as Associate General Counsel and in 2017 they became Co-Founder and COO of Grain Technology (YC W20).
Carl-Alain Memnon obtained a B.S. in Government, Law and Society from Cornell University, and a Doctor of Law (JD) in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from New York Law School. In August 2017, they obtained a Series 7 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
