Alison Francis is an experienced educator with a focus on early childhood literacy and technology integration. Currently serving as a teacher and Creativity and Literacy Program Facilitator at Fox Chapel Area School District since 2013, Alison has developed a maker program for children aged 3-5 that enhances literacy and 21st-century skills. Additionally, Alison has authored and co-authored over $75,000 in grants to promote STEAM education and collaborates with educators as a teacher evaluator and mentor at Trying Together. With extensive experience in professional development and project-based learning methodologies, Alison has also contributed as a facilitator for various educational initiatives and presented at national conferences. Alison holds an Ed.D. in Curriculum, Teaching, Learning, and Leadership from Northeastern University, alongside multiple degrees and certifications in education.
