Brian Tanner

Brian Tanner has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. Brian began their career in 1990 with Lucent Technologies / AT&T in various financial roles. In 1998, they joined Banc of America Securities as a Senior Associate, Equity Research, where they leveraged their vast telecom experience and analytical talents to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis in support of investment recommendations. In 2000, they moved to Merrill Lynch as an Assistant Vice President, Equity Research, where they applied their extensive telecom experience and sharp analytical skills to conduct industry and company analysis in support of investment recommendations. Brian then joined BDA China in 2002 as the Director of Business Development, where they cultivated new and sustained existing business by devising and executing sales and marketing strategies. In 2004, they moved to Straszheim Global Advisors as a Managing Director, supporting the start-up boutique sell-side research firm by conducting analysis in support of strategic recommendations. Brian then joined Hawaiian Telcom in 2006 as the Director, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications, and acted as the primary spokesperson for the Hawaii-based communications company. In 2015, they joined Overseas Shipholding Group as the Vice President, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications, where they developed and executed effective internal and external communications strategies. In 2017, they joined Taproot Foundation as a Strategic Communications Consultant - Pro Bono. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Tryon Title Agency, LLC as the Senior Vice President Operations.

Brian Tanner received a BS in Economics from the College of New Jersey and an MBA in Finance from Pace University.
