Fabien Furet

Fabien F. has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Fabien recently joined Riot as a Senior Developer in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at IWD for a remarkable 16 years, starting in April 2006 until May 2022. During their time at IWD, Fabien held the role of CTO and played a vital role in scaling the company from 3 to over 120 employees. Fabien was instrumental in achieving significant milestones such as increasing the user base to over 30,000 users and generating revenue of over 12 million dollars. Fabien was also responsible for raising funding with Ardian and successfully integrating the Visual Retailing team after a buyout during the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fabien had additional responsibilities, including closing deals that involved technology and automation, building and managing a remote team of 35+ people, ensuring quality standards through code reviews, testing, and automation, and mentoring the Lead Engineer to guide their own squads. Before becoming CTO, Fabien worked as a Lead Developer at Ki communication from September 2003 to April 2006 and as a Developer at ORSYP from October 2002 to August 2003.

Fabien F. pursued their education in the field of Information Technology. From 2000 to 2002, they attended Université de Bourgogne, where they completed their DUT (Diplôme universitaire de technologie). Later, from 2002 to 2003, Fabien enrolled at GOBELINS Paris, where they obtained a Licence degree in IT.
