Joey MacOurek

Joey Macourek, CPA, currently serves as the Mergers and Acquisitions Controller at Trystar, a position held since July 2025, responsible for overseeing financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards. Prior to this role, Joey held the title of Vice President Finance at Salient from March 2023 to July 2025, overseeing finance, accounting, and reporting activities. Additional experience includes serving as Portfolio Finance Manager at LFM Capital and Director of Finance at Loftis Steel and Aluminum, as well as roles at BKD CPAs & Advisors in various audit capacities. Joey began a career in finance with internships in accounting and tax before earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Belmont University.
