Hervé Touati

Hervé Touati's work experience started in 2014 when they became Managing Director at Rocky Mountain Institute. Hervé then served as Senior Fellow at the same organization from August 2017 to July 2018. In 2015, they joined Bidgely as an Advisory Board Member, where they stayed until October 2021. In 2016, they became an Advisory Board Member for Mercatus, Inc. and HST Solar. In 2017, they took on the roles of Advisor and General Manager at Shell, as well as Chairperson at Energy Web Foundation. In August 2018, they transitioned to CEO at Energy Web Foundation until August 2019. Between 2017 and 2019, they also served as an Advisory Board Member at Catalyze Inc. From August 2018 to March 2020, they were an Advisor at Shell. In September 2019, they became a Senior Advisor at Thermal Energy Partners, LLC. In 2020, Hervé Touati became Executive Chairman at Available Power. Most recently, in October 2021, they joined TS Conductor as an Investor and Chief Strategy Officer.

Hervé Touati obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mathematics from Ecole normale supérieure, where they studied from 1979 to 1982. Following this, they pursued an Engineer's degree in Computer Science at Ecole nationale des Ponts et Chaussées from 1983 to 1986. Hervé then continued their education at the University of California, Berkeley, where they completed their PhD in Computer Science from 1985 to 1990.
