Jiale Tu is an experienced Apparel Product Developer currently working at TSC since August 2021, with a progressive career that includes roles as a Technical Designer and Assistant Technical Designer. Prior experience includes an internship at Talbots as a Sweater Design Intern, where Jiale utilized trend forecasting and collaborated on design concepts. Jiale also served as an Orientation Assistant at Savannah College of Art and Design, leading student groups and demonstrating leadership qualities. In addition, Jiale achieved first place in the Reworn Upcycle Fashion Competition, showcasing creative direction and innovative design skills with textile manipulation. Jiale volunteered with the Black Youth Leadership Development Institution, guiding students and supporting educational initiatives. Jiale holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design from Savannah College of Art and Design, earned in 2021.
