Sebastian Silveira is a Senior Research Associate at TScan Therapeutics since March 2023, previously serving as an Associate Scientist at Valo from June 2021 to March 2023, where responsibilities included maintaining various primary cell types and leading in vitro functional assays for drug target research. Prior to that, Sebastian worked as a Technical Research Assistant at Brigham and Women's Hospital, focusing on the role of microglia in neurodegeneration, utilizing techniques such as microglia cell sorting and qPCR. Early career experiences include research internships at Mpala Research Centre and Fort Worth Zoo, investigating gastrointestinal parasites in plains zebra and the impact of non-native species on rock iguanas, respectively. Sebastian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University, along with a certificate in Global Health & Health Policy.
