Christian Fleck

Christian Fleck has held various roles in the field of research and development since 2005. Christian began their career as a Forscher (Postdoktorand) at Universität Freiburg in 2005. In 2006, they became a Scientific Assistant at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau, and in 2009 they were promoted to Group Head. In 2012, they joined Wag as an Associate-Professor, and in 2017 they became the Head of Research and Development and a Partner at tsenso GmbH. In 2018, they took on the role of Independent Groupleader at ETH Zürich. Most recently, in 2021, they returned to Universität Freiburg as the Group Head.

Christian Fleck began their educational journey in 1986 when they completed a Facharbeiter degree in Industrieelektroniktechnologie/Techniker from Siemens. From 1994 to 2000, they completed a Diplom degree in Physik from the University of Konstanz. Finally, from 2001 to 2005, they completed a Doktor (Ph.D.) degree in Physik from the University of Konstanz.
