Mathew Jackson

Ecotoxicologist / Environmental fate scientist at TSG Consulting

Mathew Jackson has worked in the environmental sciences field since 2013. In 2013, they began as a Student/Laboratory Assistant at Cefas, where they were responsible for histology, dissections, microscopy, sample collecting, chemical solution preparation, lab maintenance, and animal husbandry. In 2014, they moved to Shell, where they conducted environmental fate, hazard, and risk assessment for substances and mixtures produced/purchased by Shell according to the Globally Harmonised System (GHS), Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP), and REACH regulations. In 2016, they joined TSG Consulting as an Ecotoxicologist/Environmental Fate Scientist, where they were responsible for providing scientific and environmental input on information requirements, environmental exposure modelling, hazard and risk assessment methodology.

Mathew Jackson attended the University of Exeter from 2012 to 2013, where they obtained an MSc in Aquatic Biology and Resource Management. Prior to that, they attended the University of Hull from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) in Aquatic Zoology.
