Michael (Xuecheng) Jin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor and technology sectors. As the Managing Partner at Foothill Ventures since July 2010, Michael has focused on DeepTech and BioMed investments, having co-founded the firm after the TEEC Angel Fund. Prior to this, Michael served as the Chief Technology Officer at iGC Corp from January 2013 to December 2021, specializing in analog and mixed signal integrated circuit products. Additional roles include VP of Engineering and General Manager at iWatt Inc, where Michael contributed to the company's successful SEC filing and acquisition by Dialog Semiconductor, and Chief Technology Officer at Simple Silicon Inc, which merged with iWatt. Early career accomplishments include serving as Analog Design Manager at BitBlitz Communications Inc. Michael holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, an MEng in Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore, and a BEng/MEng in Biomedical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
