Nini Samra is currently the Emergency Manager at Langara College and the Emergency Management Coordinator and Program Manager at Tsleil-Waututh Nation. With a background in consulting for Indigenous organizations and governments, as well as experience in emergency management programs at Musqueam Indian Band, Nini has a strong foundation in grant administration, community engagement, and stakeholder relations. Prior to this, Nini worked in various roles such as Culture & Recreation Coordinator, Head Coach, and Youth and Family Worker, showcasing a diverse skill set and a commitment to serving communities. Nini has also served in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Master Corporal and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Physiology, History, and Education.
