Hung-Wei Chiu

Hung-Wei Chiu is a skilled staff engineer at Intel Corporation since April 2022 and a member of the technical staff at the Open Networking Foundation since May 2019. Previous experience includes roles as a DevOps engineer at Thunder Token, Inc. from September 2018 to May 2019, where skills in CI/CD workflow for AWS and Kubernetes were developed. Prior to that, Hung-Wei served as a software engineer at Linker Networks Inc. focusing on Kubernetes integration and network solutions, and as a product developer at Synology, contributing to network functions and VPN client development. Additional roles included system and network administration at the National Chiao Tung University, where considerable experience in teaching and research on network simulation and software-defined networking was gained. Hung-Wei holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from National Chiao Tung University.
