Ming-Chi Chen

Ming-Chi Chen currently serves as a Department Manager at 台灣積體電路製造股份有限公司 since December 2014, focusing on exploratory design automation programs for new technology nodes, including standard cell automation and optimization. With prior experience as a Manager at the same company, responsibilities involved technology file automation and physical design analysis. Before joining 台灣積體電路製造股份有限公司, Ming-Chi Chen held the position of Director of R&D at Atoptech, specializing in IR-drop, EM, power analysis, and clock-tree optimization, and worked as a Staff R&D Engineer at Synopsys and an R&D Engineer at Avant!, concentrating on LVS and related technologies. Ming-Chi Chen earned a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University in 1997, following a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from the same institution in 1995.
