Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Tsunami Tsolutions

Dale Carlson has a extensive work experience in the field of aircraft maintenance. Dale started their career at UPS in 1987 as a Major Maintenance Manager, where they coordinated major maintenance activities for various aircraft models. Dale then transitioned to the role of Aircraft Maintenance Training Manager, overseeing the training department for 7 fleets of commercial aircraft. After that, they served as the Technical Publications Manager, responsible for coordinating technical manuals in a digital format. Dale later became the Aircraft Records Manager, handling compliance issues and managing the maintenance records department. In 2009, they were promoted to Aircraft Maintenance Planning Manager, overseeing scheduling and workload for about 235 aircraft. In 2017, Dale retired from UPS after 30 years of service. Currently, they are working as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Tsunami Tsolutions LLC, where they are involved in data migration, report development, and system testing for aircraft maintenance software implementation for UPS. Dale is also keen on enjoying their retirement by golfing, traveling, and spending time with their grandchildren.

Dale Carlson has a diverse education history in the field of aviation. Dale attended Thunderbird Aviation from 1969 to 1970, where they obtained a Private Pilot Single Engine Land License. Following this, from 1970 to 1973, Dale studied at Bethany School of Missions and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Missions and Cross Cultural Studies. Subsequently, from 1977 to 1979, they attended Minneapolis Aviation Technical School and obtained an FAA Airframe & Powerplant License, specializing in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Technician. Additionally, Dale holds certifications such as a Private Pilot License, Single Engine Land, and an FAA A&P Certification, both obtained from the FAA.
