Dave Ross

Dave Ross has a long and varied work experience, starting with Radiation Systems Inc in 1989 as a Software Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, and System Engineer, where they were responsible for all documentation, design, mechanical engineering, purchasing, packaging, and manufacturing. In 1991 they joined Ligado Networks (formerly American Mobile Satellite Corporation) as Director of Sales and Product Management, where they drove the availability of satellite radios for land mobile, maritime, aviation, and transportation, and recruited and led a national sales team that successfully enlisted a nationwide distribution network of over 100 independent dealerships in 6 months. From 1996 to 2019, Dave worked at Qualcomm in multiple roles in product management and business development, including Senior Director of Global Business Development, where they product managed the first commercial Qualcomm digital phone. In 2016, Dave co-founded Tsunami XR, an enterprise software and applications company delivering software as service (SaaS) immersive telepresence solutions, and helped to create the business vision and system architecture, as well as drive the system design and the IP portfolio of over 40 key patent filings. In 2018, Dave began advising Netsanity, Inc. and in 2019 they joined Brain Corp as Vice President of Global Business Development, where they created the business of selling robotically collected data and analytics to new and existing retail customers by developing new AI services on the base, industrial, cleaning machines to amplify their value to end customers, driving more than 50% of the recurring revenue at Brain.

Dave Ross attended Riverside Preparatory Academy from 1979 to 1987, where they earned a degree in Science with a focus on Math and Physics. Dave then attended Georgia Institute of Technology from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a BSID in Industrial Design.
